Farm

It's that time of year again!!
I can't believe that spring has come and we are starting farm work!  To be honest I'm not sure when or if it really ever ended this last year.  But we are definitely back into the swing of things!!
This is the picture of Brayden out in the corn field with Grandpa.  They both had so much fun!!  Brayden talks about getting to ride with Grandpa all the time.  I know this year he is going to really enjoy riding in the tractors.  We are really hoping we can keep him safe and out of fields when he sees a tractor.  I think Brad is really excited to have his little boy excited to be at the farm with him.
The girls are even getting more involved with the farm.  They help milk cows now a couple of times a month and they really do enjoy it.  They are hoping to be able to help even more this summer.  I am just looking forward to summer and school getting out!!
So this is the time of year when we have to enjoy every moment we have with Brad because they really are few!!  I love Brad because even during the summer he tries his hardest to be there and do things with us but it is hard.  Right now I am trying to plan some summer activities and we are faced with the choice if I go with out him to Mnt. Rushmore or not go.  We usually take a summer trip with my parents and this is the trip that they are going to take in June.  So we really don't have a lot of time to decide what to do.  It is always hard for me to make these decisions (wish me luck.)

Happy Christmas Eve!!

I can't believe it is Christmas Eve already.  Where has all the time gone.  We have had a busy couple of months.  Brad and I celebrated our 12th anniversary!  To celebrate we spent a couple days together in Jerome Idaho.  Yes, I did say Jerome over the years we have learned something very important it really doesn't matter where we go.  It really only matters that we are together!!  I really love my hubby!!  We got to meet up with one of Brad's friends from back in the day.  He took us around and showed us the dairy's he manages in that area.  It was actually fun and very educational.  It was nice to see how different farms run.  Plus Brad just enjoyed spending sometime with his friend.

The kids are growing a ton (well a few of them are!)  We make marks on one of the doors in our house of the how tall the kids are at least once a year.  Well we just did it about 3 weeks ago.  My little girl Vanessa isn't really little any more.  She has grown over 6 inches in the last year.  She can wear my shoes now and even borrows some of my sweater dresses and jackets.  (I really didn't think this would start for a couple more years at least.)  Baylielynn on the other hand is going to stay little for a while longer.  I'm kind of glad at least one of my little girls are staying little.  She has only grown about 2 inches and that is giving her a little!  Brayden on the other hand is taking after his dad and oldest sister.  He has grown over 5 inches.  He really is the size of a 4-5 year old.  He really does out weigh Baylie and can take her out if he really wants to and that is a lot of the time.  He really like to pick on Baylie (we aren't sure why.)

This year we have had a elf from Santa come and visit.  Her name is Sally and she reminds me of Baylie.  She is a little mischievous when we are all asleep.  She must get bored when she comes back from reporting to Santa and no one is awake yet!!  She brought letters from Santa for the kids the first day she showed up on our tree.  The kids have loved searching the house for her every morning!!

Brad has taken today off to go down and see my parents for Christmas.  Brad has done it this way for the last couple of years.  It is kind of nice to be able to go down to Hyrum on Christmas Eve instead of Christmas Day.  We get to spend sometime with my parent alone and then we don't have to go any where on Christmas day if we don't want to.  Yes, he has to milk on Christmas day this way, but usually he still has to go down and feed no matter what so it just ends up spending a couple more hours at the farm.  Plus it gives me a chance to put Brayden down for a nap and I can take one and not feel bad!

I probably won't get on again until after Christmas so.  Merry Christmas everyone!!  I will get on and post pics of Christmas morning in a couple of days.  When things slow down a little.  I will also post pics from the girls concerts.

Merry Christmas!!  Love the Lindhardt's

I want to start out by saying this beautiful woman sitting next to me is who does our family pictures and can I just say she is amazing. So these pictures are ones she took. She is one of a few people that can get my girls to really smile. Plus she even got Brayden an over active 3 year old to sit and smile. She really is a miracle worker!! It is one of the reasons I love her!

Kasaundra, & Brad
Brad and I are heading towards 12 years of marriage.  We have faced so many things together it's hard to believe we are still together some times.  He puts up with a lot but on the other side so do I.  I think that is part of marriage.  I love him and would never change him for anything in the world (most of the time.)  We are still on the family farm and growing as a couple and family.

Vanessa (10)
I know the minute she sees I put 10 she is going to tell me in should be 11 because her birthday is only a little over 2 weeks away.  But I want to keep her little as long as I can.  Plus I'm the mom so that is my right!!  Vanessa is growing so fast.  She really is growing into an amazing young woman!  She loves school (I know that didn't come from me so I guess she really is more Brad in a lot of ways!)  She enjoys reading and math.  Her and Baylie fight like sisters so over Christmas break this last year we added a room and she moved into her own room.  She loves having her own space and not having to share with her sister.  We just finished her room in the last couple of weeks.  I will take pictures when she gets it clean and post them.  It is so her!!  Bright and fun!!  Vanessa is doing orchestra this year in school and is learning to play the bass.  I told her she was tall enough to play the bass or one of the larger instruments so she decided she would try it instead of the violin.  So far she is really enjoying it.  Vanessa is helping on the farm here and there.  She milks a couple times a month.  I wouldn't say she loves it like Baylie but she doesn't mind it either.  She is more our girly girl!!  I keep telling her it doesn't matter if she likes being at the farm or not this is our life and she has to work at the farm just like all of our kids will have to.  I think she is starting to enjoy it more then she says because we don't have to force her to go any more.

Baylielynn (9)
I am the only one that calls her Baylielynn any more she goes by Baylie.  Not that I'm that surprised because she has always liked Baylie.  It has grown on me over the years and her name really does fit her.  She is our little pixie, plus she is more me then I think Brad or I were prepared for.  She can be the most loving person and also very aggressive.  She hates being told what to do and will fight you the whole way.  (I told you she really is more me then Brad.)  She enjoys school but I really think it is more the social part of school.  She does enjoy reading but it has to be her idea pretty much like everything else.  But I really wouldn't have her any other way.  I have always told Brad if we could only have 2 kids on our own at least we got one of each of us!!  Baylie loves the farm and enjoys going with Brad.  She keeps telling us that when she grows up she is going to live and work on the farm.  We keep asking her what she is going to do if her husband doesn't want to be on the farm?  She just tells us that she won't marry them if they don't want to be on the farm.  I always laugh and think if only love was that easy.  But then to a 9 year old it really is!!

Brayden (3)
Brayden is our little miracle.  I will probably always think of him like that.  Because he was the greatest unselfish gift anyone has ever given us.  Brayden was placed with us when he was one day old and has been a blessing in our home even before he was born.  Every day I thank Heavenly Father for our beautiful and loving birth mother.  We love her dearly for the gift she gave us.  We do know our birth father and we did get the chance to meet him several times.  And we are also grateful to him for letting us raise and be Brayden's parents.  I just pray everyday that we can live up to this gift.

Brayden is nonstop go which I am told is normal for a little boy.  He has broken more things in our house then both of our girls put together.  But I still love him.  (I keep telling people that I wasn't build to be a boys mom, but it is all said in fun.  I wouldn't change him for a girl ever!!)  He has had some health problems and he will face some for the rest of his life.  He is a fighter and doesn't let anything hold him back or stop him.  He just deals with it and moves on.  He is such an inspiration to me and our family.  He is changing and growing so fast.  He changes a little everyday.  We are working on potty changing and that has been a fun experience.  My girls were hard but he might win this one!  He loves mickey mouse, movies, cars, animals, and cartoons!  He also enjoys going to the farm at least once he gets there, but he has to put up a fight before he gets there.  But give him another couple months and then he will want to be with his dad at the farm.  Every afternoon he will come to me and ask "Where's dad?"  and then before I can answer him he'll say "At the farm!"  I think he just likes to remind me that he knows.

We really are blessed in so many ways it's hard to believe!  I look back over the years and I can see Heavenly Fathers hand in everything that we have faced and over came.  I love my family!!  Brad and I are two of the most luckiest people in the world.  First to find each other and then to have been blessed with our three amazing children.  I know we always wanted a big family but I wouldn't change the family we have for a dozen kids.
I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

A long time to not write!

My loving husband started this awhile ago thinking he had time! Well the joke was on him. He doesn't even have time for my huney do list besides sitting on a computer and writting about what is going on in our lives. So after a lot of pondering I have decided to step in and try doing it for him. So here goes nothing!
Brad spends more time at the farm right now then he does at home. The kids and I look forward to winter when we will see him more. But after 11 years of marriage I have learned to be an okay single parent if I say so myself!! (Yes I'm just kidding) Hay is down, barley is in, corn is ready, and so is wheat. So he won't be slowing down any time soon. Every body cross there fingers that everything goes well and he is done before his small trip at the end of October.

Well, we had a nice weekend, considering both of us still feel like crap from the flu. The most exciting thing we did was go to the Jazz game sat night, they won!!!(in overtime) Kasaunrda claims that she did enjoy it, fact or fiction?? Anyways it was nice to just hang out, Kasaundra insisted that we also go to Ikea, WOW, not!! Sorry to all the fans but I wasn't to impressed. It is hard to imagine that we have been married ten yrs, I look back at all the mistakes, wishing for a retry, but I am also greatful for "forever" to try to do, be and become better and a Husband and a Father of a wonderful family!!!!

"Happy Anniversary"
This is Kasaundra. I just wanted to make sure everyone knows how lucky I really am. Brad and I have been married 10 years today. We have been through a lot together over the years. Some really hard things and some miracles that we will never forget.
Brad is a really amazing husband, dad, and son. He has helped me a lot through the years and I know I couldn't have made it this far without him. He helps around the house (I know that is rare and I am very lucky.) He loves helping with the kids homework and playing and teasing the girls. Brad is the greatest man alive and my love for him grows each day!
Brad I love you. You are the most handsome man alive and I can't wait to grow old with you. Happy 10 years I love you!!!!!
